< Adding a New Compensation Condition < How do I add multiple compensation conditions?

Below is an explanation and guide to adding simple compensation conditions and multiple compensation conditions with several "If" statements. When you add compensation conditions they will be applied in the order in which they are listed under the Compensation Conditions sub menu for that service item.

The system applies these conditions in the order in which they are listed and stops as soon as a condition is met. It is important to ensure your conditions are listed in the correct order so that you achieve the desired result. As a general rule, the more arguments that you have in your condition then the higher up the list the condition should be.

 

This guide details the order in which the "If" statements appear in the drop down menu.

ON DESKTOP:

Navigate to Admin > Services > Service Items > Compensation Conditions

STEP 1
How do I add a compensation condition that relates to conditions with multiple circumstances?
  • Click the service item you wish to edit.

  • Click "Compensation Conditions" from the menu.

  • Then click "Add a New Condition".

STEP 3​​

  • Select "the staff type is" in the left hand drop down menu

  • Select "Senior Pay level 2" in the right hand drop down menu

  • Then click "Add another if..."

  • Next select "the time is between" and choose 9pm and 8am from the drop down menus

  • You have now created a compensation condition that relies on multiple circumstances

  • Type "9.00 in the box labelled "Then compensation is"

  • Click "Add".

  • If your multiple conditions are not in the correct order, click "Auto-Order" or select the "move up" or "move down" options to re-order them.

  • Next select "the time is between" and choose 9pm and 8am from the drop down menus

  • You have now created a compensation condition that relies on multiple circumstances

  • Type "9.00 in the box labelled "Then compensation is"

  • Click "Add".
